Trim Levels
The new Subaru WRX has four trims:
- Subaru WRX Base: The base model offers a dual seven-inch touchscreen, satellite radio, LED headlights, and automatic climate control.
- Subaru WRX Premium: Stepping to the Premium trim, you'll gain heated front seats, alloy pedals, an 11.6-inch touchscreen, and dual rear USB ports.
- Subaru WRX Limited: The Limited trim is even more sophisticated, adding navigation, synthetic leather upholstery, and adaptive headlights.
- Subaru WRX GT: At the top of the list is the GT trim that adds performance-oriented upgrades, such as adaptive suspension dampers and additional drive mode settings.
Interior and Exterior
The Subaru WRX is a sleek, compact car that gives Del City shoppers LED headlights with automatic high beams on all trim levels. For the base model, Subaru goes with 17-inch wheels. The Premium trim level and higher sit on 18-inch wheels instead. These models also have LED fog lights, a rear spoiler, heated side mirrors, and a windshield wiper de-icer.
The WRX gets standard sport-bolstered front seats for the interior. Many luxurious features are available for this vehicle as well, including alloy pedals, heated front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a 10-way power-adjustable driver's seat. This vehicle has spacious and supportive seating for up to five. It also has 12.5 cubic feet of trunk space, plus 60/40 split-folding rear seats to help you haul longer items.
Performance
A turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine comes standard underneath the hood of every new WRX. The resulting output is a satisfying 271 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. You can choose between a six-speed manual and a continuously variable transmission for the WRX, but every model comes standard with all-wheel drive. The standard manual transmission has an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway. Instead, models with a continuously variable transmission should expect an EPA-estimated 19 mpg in the city and 25 mpg on the highway around Oklahoma City.
Technology
There are many tech features to learn about regarding the new WRX. While the base model has two seven-inch touchscreens, the remaining trims have a single 11.6-inch touchscreen instead. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration is found in all four WRX trim levels. Other standard features include dual USB ports, satellite radio, and a six-speaker sound system. Rear USB ports and a premium 11-speaker sound system are available on select models.
Safety Features
